Jandor Lagos 2027 ambitions took a major step forward as Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran unveiled his campaign website ahead of the All Progressives Congress governorship primaries. The announcement follows his return to the APC earlier this year after a stint with the Peoples Democratic Party.
The aspirant, popularly known as Jandor, shared a campaign flyer on Wednesday reading: “Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran Jandor for Governor, Lagos State 2027.” Alongside this, he announced the launch of his official campaign website, calling it “the digital heartbeat” of his gubernatorial bid.
“This isn’t just a website; it’s an open civic space,” Jandor wrote. “As I seek the nomination of our party, I’m opening the doors for every Lagosian to interrogate our ideas, contribute to our vision, and help shape the policy agenda for a more prosperous state.”
Acknowledging the possibility of other APC aspirants, Jandor said his focus remains on party leadership and Lagos residents. He emphasized collective responsibility, urging citizens to engage with his roadmap for “an inclusive Lagos” and participate in shaping policy ahead of the 2027 elections.
Jandor previously contested the 2023 Lagos governorship election under the PDP banner, with Nollywood actress Funke Akindele as his running mate. He finished third behind the APC and Labour Party candidates. His return to APC in March sparked criticism, with the PDP’s Lagos Deputy Chairman, Tai Benedict, alleging Jandor was strategically positioned by APC to weaken the opposition.
The launch of the campaign website marks Jandor’s formal digital entry into the 2027 race, signaling a new phase in his political comeback and his strategy to engage directly with voters ahead of the primaries.
